I’m excited to share that I have successfully passed the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam this past weekend! This marks another milestone in my recent professional development journey that I started about three months ago.

I found the PMP certification by happenstance. I didn’t know it then, but I had already been doing much work that was aligned with project and program management. Studying for the PMP exam gave me several frameworks and tools that were incredibly helpful in managing and delivering successful projects, a foundation on conflict management and negotiations, and many successful case studies on the importance of being a servant leader. I feel incredibly aligned with what Project Management Institute stands for and what PMP certification signifies. I strongly believe that securing the PMP certification is the right and significant step at this stage in my career.

The PMP certification is not just a badge on my LinkedIn profile; it represents a deep commitment to excellence in program and project management. It signifies my dedication to delivering successful projects, being a servant leader, and driving positive and impactful change in the climate space via program/project management.

I have already been able to apply the knowledge and best practices I’ve gained to impact the day-to-day operations at my current organization. And I look forward to contributing to even more successful projects and the growth of impactful and mission-driven organizations!
